MRKT5 很榮幸地舉辦《旋光：吳霜個展》。吳霜1986年出生於重慶，是一位年輕的抽象表現主義藝術家。她於2007年在德國的卡塞爾大學自由藝術學院學習，2009年畢業於四川美術學院，此後她繼續碩士學位的學習，並於2014年畢業於中央美術學院。本展是吳霜在台灣的首次個展，吳霜創作繪畫藝術作品，是為了想成為這個時代的感受者和記錄者，記錄光和生命的瞬息萬變。

MRKT5 is honored to present "Spin Light: Wu Shuang Solo Exhibition." Wu Shuang, a young abstract expressionist artist born in Chongqing in 1986, studied at the School of Fine Arts of Kassel University in Germany in 2007, graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2009, and continued to pursue a master's degree, graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2014. This exhibition is Wu Shuang's first solo exhibition in Taiwan. Wu Shuang creates works of art in painting to become a feeler and recorder of this era, recording the fleeting changes of light and life.


吳霜在創作自述中寫道：「藝術就像治癒人類的安慰劑，在歷史的洪流中留下一些印記，直面人類曾有過的情感、歡樂與悲痛。藝術也許不能改變什麽，但為人類的情感尋求了共鳴，它們真實的存在著，並讓人類充滿希望。」吳霜作品畫面上洋溢著繽紛的色彩與有力度的動勢筆觸，但藝術家認為其實世界並不存在顏色，色彩是光的折射影像，是對雙眸的包容，是對心靈的凈化。而繪畫對吳霜而言，是從無到有的過程，「畫面中的戲劇性情節被隱藏在凌亂的色彩中，直到一塊一塊斑斕出現在我的眼前，畫面上布滿了不同形狀的光，畫布給了這些光一個庇護的港灣。」

She confronts these feelings, conveys them through colorful colors, and allows the audience to empathize. Under Wu Shuang's seemingly free and unrestrained appearance, there is also a very rational side. Her works have rigorous and profound thoughts, and require concentration to complete. Wu Shuang's works represent her adventurous spirit, recording the emotions of our time, and filling the viewers with hope again.

1986年出生於重慶，吳霜是一位年輕的抽象表現主義藝術家。她於2007年在德國的卡塞爾大學自由藝術學院學習。2009年畢業於四川美術學院。此後她繼續碩士學位的學習，並於2014年畢業於中央美術學院。此後她生活並工作於北京。
Born in 1986 in Chongqing, Wu Shuang is a young abstract expressionist artist. 吳霜的藝術非常引人入勝，她擅長使用顏色，特別是高純度、對比強烈的色彩。她混合各種明亮的色彩，起初一看會覺得對比強烈，但融合在一起又特別和諧。此外，她的作品包含了既有深度又有廣度的情感，是所有觀眾都能共情的，這也是少有的中國女藝術家所具備的能力。在看似自由開放的外表下，她的作品同時具有十分理性的一面，有著嚴謹的思索，並且需要嚴格和持續的控制才能完成。 吳霜的作品代表了她敢於冒險的精神，對不同年代的人都有吸引力。因為她獨特的風格，她與知名品牌如梅賽德斯-奔馳、中國時裝周等品牌連續合作三年，並且在全國廣泛地展出。
Wu Shuang's art is very captivating, and she excels in the use of color, especially high-purity, contrasting colors. She mixes various bright colors, which at first glance may seem strongly contrasting, but blend together harmoniously. In addition, her works contain both depth and breadth of emotions, making them relatable to all viewers, which is a rare ability among Chinese female artists. Under the seemingly free and open surface, her works also have a very rational side, with rigorous thinking and requiring strict and continuous control to complete. Wu Shuang's work represents her daring spirit and appeals to people of different generations. Due to her unique style, she has collaborated with well-known brands such as Mercedes-Benz and China Fashion Week for three consecutive years, and has been widely exhibited throughout the country.
